Our standards

Quality & Third-Party Testing

Every batch of peptides we ship has been independently verified for identity and purity. Here is exactly what that means, and why it matters for your research.

What it means

What Is Third-Party Testing?

Third-party testing means an independent laboratory, unaffiliated with Wicked Bio or our suppliers, analyzes each compound and issues a report on its findings. We do not verify our own products. An outside lab does, using analytical methods such as HPLC, mass spectrometry, or NMR to confirm the identity and purity of the substance.

This removes conflict of interest from the quality equation. A supplier self-reporting purity is not the same as an independent lab confirming it. We believe researchers deserve the latter.

Our standard

The 99% Purity Requirement

We require a minimum of 99% purity for every compound we carry. If a batch does not meet that threshold in independent testing, it does not ship. This is not a marketing claim, it is a threshold enforced at the sourcing level before product reaches our inventory.

Purity matters in research because impurities introduce variables. When you are working with a compound, you need confidence that what you have is what it says it is, at the concentration you expect. That confidence starts with the purity standard.

Batch verification

How Each Batch Is Verified

Before any product enters our inventory for sale, it goes through independent analytical testing. The process covers identity confirmation (verifying the compound is what it claims to be) and purity analysis (quantifying the percentage of the target compound versus contaminants or byproducts).

Only batches that clear both checks are made available for order. This is not periodic or spot-check verification, it is per-batch, every time.

Storage & handling

Storage and Handling Guidance

Proper storage is critical to maintaining the integrity of research peptides. Lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder should be stored cold and away from direct light. Once reconstituted, peptides should be refrigerated and used according to your research protocol.

All products are shipped with appropriate packaging to preserve quality in transit. For specific handling requirements relevant to your research, consult your laboratory's standard procedures for peptide handling.

Documentation

Certificates of Analysis

Certificates of analysis, issued by the independent testing laboratory for each batch, are available on request. If you need documentation for a specific lot, contact us directly and we will provide the relevant certificate.
